Business IT that doesn't slow you down
Endpoints · Identity · Backups · Day-to-day ops
Small teams don't need a five-figure platform — they need someone who picks up the phone, knows what they're doing, and writes down what they did so it doesn't have to be reinvented next time. That's what I do for Central Valley businesses that don't have an IT department but really should.
What I fix
- Endpoint setup and lifecycle — Mac and Windows
- Identity hygiene (Google or Entra ID), MFA done properly
- Real backups, tested restores, and offsite copies
- Patching that doesn't break things on Monday morning
- Plain-English runbooks so your team can self-serve the easy stuff
- Security guidance folded into everyday ops, not a separate slide deck
How it works
-
Inventory
Walk-through of what you have, who uses what, and where the soft spots are. You get a one-page reality check.
-
Fix the basics
MFA, backups, identity, baseline endpoint hygiene. The stuff that stops most incidents before they start.
-
Stay on call
Flat monthly retainer or hourly. Tickets in email, urgent things by phone. No phone tree.
Tools I lean on
Onsite when it matters, remote when it doesn't — anywhere in the Valley.
Pricing
-

Common questions
How much does it cost?
On-site and remote IT support runs $75 an hour. Larger or ongoing projects can be quoted as a flat fee. Travel or after-hours work is quoted separately.
Are you a full MSP?
No — I'm a one-person shop. That means lower overhead, faster decisions, and a direct line to the person actually doing the work. For most small businesses, one person who answers the phone beats a ticket queue.
Do you do onsite work?
Yes, anywhere in the Central Valley. Most work is remote, but I'll come out when it makes sense.
What if you go on vacation?
You'll know in advance, you'll have runbooks, and I keep a trusted backup person on call for emergencies.
Can you handle compliance stuff (HIPAA, etc.)?
Light compliance lift — yes. Heavy regulated environments are out of scope and I'll tell you that up front.
Tired of IT being a mystery?
Let's spend 30 minutes on a video call and write down what you actually have.
